Eddie Brock th Venom

Eddie Brock the Venom

Who’s Spider-Man's most feared foe? Venom, for sure. It's a name that conjures up images of a murderous, hulking creature garbed in a twisted black spider man costume.
I always read how people miss Eddie Brock as Venom, and he is the one true Venom and all that. And I will admit, I love Eddie as Venom. But only as a villain. He was the antithesis of Peter Parker. What he could have become. His Lethal Protector run was good, as was Separation Anxiety, but the more I re-read it I found myself comparing him to a super-powered Punisher. Not really a heroic icon. I also found Eddie's psychotic nature led him to be a better tragic villain. He murders, but he murders bad guys. However, murder is murder and he ought to be stopped. That sort of thing. He just also seemed one-dimensional as a character, something writers had limited him to because of his insanity.

She Venom Cosplay

If you thought Comic-Con International was the be-all, end-all showcase for the best in cosplay then you’re missing out. Costume designer and photographer Adam Jay has stepped it up a notch, creating a liquid-latex rendition of Spider-Man villain Venom costume with the help of model Freddie Nova.

Will the New Spider-Man costume Lead the film to Fail?

new amazing spider man costume Even though I think the new amazing spider man costume is perfect now, and I love it so much, some people still think the new suit will lead the film to fail. These are their reasons: “After making such a big deal about how Spidey’s suit is different in The Amazing Spider-Man to the Raimi films, they’ve changed the suit again for Amazing Spider Man 2, making it more closely resemble the Sam Raimi version again, with its larger eyes and lighter shade. One has to ask – what was the point in ever giving it the texture of a basketball and a darker look in the last film, then? Would it kill the filmmakers to stop tinkering around with things needlessly and just give the new series some consistency beyond who is actually playing Spider-Man?” What do you think about it?

Thought on Amazing Spider-Man 3 And 4?

Amazing Spider-Man 2 newly released the new amazing spider-man costume and Electro costume. I cannot keep saying how perfect the Spider-Man suit is now. Looks amazing from all angles, especially when he’s clinging to the wall. Still iffy about Electro though, it’ll come down to Foxx’s performance to determine whether I like him or not.
If Sony is planning four movies, the question is… will the sinister six storyline culminate with part 3, or 4?
And… where does the Venom/Carnage story fit into the plan?
In part 1 we have the origin and the gene-splicing science established to create all the villains needed… and the mastermind Norman Osborn revealed as the presence behind the events unfolding.
so we have two of the Ultimate Sinister six introduced: 1) Green Goblin and 2) Lizard/Conners
Now it’s seems in Amazing Spidey 2 we have at least another two sinister six members 3) electro and 4) Rhino
So that leaves Sony 2 films to complete the Sinister 6 story AND the Venom symbiote story.
It’s my guess Venom will be part 3 and replace Doc Ock (his previous alfred molina incarnation was awesome and too close to memory) when the ultimate Sinister 6 forms in part 4, led by a new green goblin and his hunter Kraven.
I’d prefer Venom was in a solo fourth film however, and the “6” were wrapped up by film 3.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Costumes

Got 2 fresh Amazing Spider-Man Pictures.

I cannot keep saying how perfect the new amazing Spider-Man costume is now, it is absolutely spot on, and his white eyes are perfect. My only issue with the new Spider-man suit is that the logo is no longer spread out across the chest aligning with the blue. I thought that looked really cool on the first Amazing Spiderman suit(and that would have been one extra little difference from the Sam Raimi suit). But other than that, I still really like the new costume.

Hopefully it looks better in the movie but i think Electro looks corny in these shots, like a bad 90s attempt to make him look cool. Not yet buying the electricity running through him visually.

Should the Iron Spider-Man Armor Return?

Spider-Man got rid of the Iron Spider costume long time ago. I liked this costume so I kept thinking whether it should somehow return in the future, similar to how the alien costume returned as Venom. What do you think? And if you think it should somehow be used again, how?

Here are my ideas about some possibilities...

1. A new villain gets his hands on the Iron Spider costume, and becomes a recurring villain. It's worked in the past (Venom) although I don't see it working as well. You could use it to drum up interest in a new villain, and then kill him.

2. An old villain gets his hands on the Iron Spider Suit, perhaps someone with mechanical/ electric talents (Spider Slayers, Electro, any of the Goblins, etc.)

3. New superhero, perhaps someone in Iron Man's employ, a SHIELD agent, a Slinger, a Young Avenger, or a clone. It could work well as a mystery, and could increase interest in whatever book the new guy stars in.

Whatever happens, I hope it's good.

Ben Reilly Returns from the Grave in “Scarlet Spider #21″

Ben Reilly, the clone of Peter Parker, everyone's favorite scarlet Spider man, the only sleeveless-hoodie wearing Spider-clone.
I think people could reasonably have hope that Marvel will bring back Ben Reilly and make an awesome story out of him. I mean, it's certainly possible, that Ben Reilly will be getting some long-needed redemption, which he will immediately squander by wearing a sleeveless, light-blue hoodie.
Now this cover by Ryan Stegman for Scarlet Spider #21 shows that the original Scarlet Spider is very much back, and is still able to find people who are making that Scarlet Spider costume! Of course, speculation is still flying as to whether this is in fact Ben Reilly, but between the outfit and the use of the iconic “impact webbing” that Reilly was so fond of using, all signs point to yes.
Check out the cover below, and start wondering now whether there is enough room in the Marvel Universe for two Scarlet Spiders!

Clone Saga Scarlet Spider

The Scarlet Spider is a pretty controversial character, heralding from the spider man 'Clone Saga' in the 90's. The Scarlet Spider was Spider-man's clone, come back after a few years away. He made the scarlet spider costume quickly, an all-red bodysuit, and threw on a blue hoodie he got from the Museum of Natural History to complete the look.
If you're concerned about the name then don't fret as it was actually worked into the comic as what others called him (the character himself didn't like the name and thought it was stpuid) - that's a nice bit of pre-Marvel movie-verse character name dropping where it has become common place now.

Personally I always thought Scarlet was pretty cool, and even though lots of fans take issue with the scarlet spider hoodie over spandex design, I liked it.

Scarlet Spider and His Costume

Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly, Peter's clone) is from the clone saga.
I liked how he used a somewhat different "arsenal" than Peter and his clashes with Kaine (another clone who was defective, different powers and with a grudge against Ben). Didn't like when the saga went into "who is the real Peter Parker" phase and Ben's subsequent costume change (and some other weird stuff...).
Even though the Scarlet Spider costume is quite "simple", it was basically red/scarlet full body suit with a blue rippled type jacket, but I like it, because I liked Ben's character at that time.

Tech-Based Iron Spider-Man

Let's be honest here. If you were Spidey, you'd try and maximize your effectiveness as much as possible and be more inclined to use tech-based suits like the Iron Spider Costume. Speaking personally, one of the reasons I really liked Ben Reilly was because he reminded me of how creative Spidey really was when he expanded his arsenal to use Stingers and Impact Webbing, something Spidey never incorporated into his own arsenal. If I were Peter, I'd have definitely have started using them after seeing Ben use them.

Some people do not like the Iron Spiderman costume even though it seemed like a good way for Spidey to maximize the use of his powers. This isn't like Captain America where his shield functions better without any bells and whistles. Me, I had no problem with it for the reason I mentioned above. It provided better protection, upped his offensive capabilities, and allowed him to use a greater variety of skills.

The Iron Spider Costume

Spidey got a brand-new Spiderman suit In the Civil War event series, debuted a red-and-gold Iron Spider costume designed by his then-boss and patron Iron Man. This costume featured three retractable mechanical limbs, which gave him a grand total of, um, seven limbs. Which was close enough, I guess.
The Iron Spider costume was a little less popular, owing perhaps to the fact that it was usually colored gold and maroon and included a pair of spats, and ultimately only lasted until about halfway through Civil War, when Spider-Man rebelled against Iron Man and changed clothes to prove it.

Why spider man in his iron spider costume has only 3 waldoes?

spiderman vs doctor octopus
If you look at dr. octopus, he has 2 legs, 2 arms, and 4 mechanical arms which means 8 legs which an octopus should have. In Spiderman red and blue costume, there are no waldoes, but only 2 arms and 2 legs, as we all know, spiders have 8 legs. In the iron spider costume, he has 3 waldoes, or mechanical arms, which means he has 7 legs.
Since Tony Stark created this for him, I don’t understand why he only gave the costume 3 waldoes instead of 4.
iron spider armor 3 waldoes
So, how come spiderman in his iron spiderman costume has only 3 waldoes? I have my own reasons.
1. Maybe because of u put another waldo on the back, he would be able to walk correctly. the waldoes can help him walk but if u want it to walk with 4 of them you'd need to put it in the front which would look ridiculous.
2. Maybe Tony Stark made a mistake but by the time he realized it he didn’t feel like fixing it.
What do you think about it?

Iron Spider Costume Ideas

iron-spider-man
I have always loved the Iron spiderman costume but no one has really seemed to capture the lenses as they should be. As far as the "waldoes" or legs I've only seen one person do this but they did it using a material that was filled with stuffing almost like a pillow. I want mine to have that sharp metallic look. I also want the lenses to be able to be pushed away from the eyes and back in place either manually or by using some remote system similar to how an iron man mask closes using electronics.
 Iron Spider Suit

I would also love to have some of the lighting on the Iron spider costume like in this picture as well. I am developing some ideas but would love any creative input to get this rolling. I plan on starting with a base red body suit dye subed to try to give it a metallic electronic look. I plan on making all the armor and attaching it to the body suit using magnets but haven't decided on how to make the armor yet. I wish this would be epic if I can pull it off!
